This week’s episode had me literally melted from these two. I have diabetes now cause this series knows how to bring on the sweetness overload. Let’s get into the highlights of this week’s episode.

Kyo and Anna are in their third year now! With that comes new classes and introductions to new classmates including Hanzawa and Ando! This year is sure to get very interesting….

Anna gets overly excited seeing Kyo show up to class 1 and hastily goes to greet him. After a stare down from the class, she finally remembers their promise to keep distance in public, leading to her trying to play it off. Best girl Sekine showed up for duty by coming in clutch with a cover story that Anna is just too touchy feely to everyone.

Later that day, Kyo meets back up with Adachi, who unfortunately did not get into class 1. The two have really blossomed into good friends, with Kyo really starting to interact more with him and the other boys. I love seeing this for Kyo. Later in the episode, Kyo walks home with the guys, telling them the deets of the girls of class 1 and we finally see Kyo realizing that he sees Adachi as a friend and he doesn’t want to hurt his feelings when it comes to his relationship with Anna. Especially since Adachi has confessed his feelings for her to him.

So lets back up a few to what happened before this walk with the guys shall we? Kyo literally gets himself in the most awkward situations, and this is no different. Our short boy literally gets himself depantsed! Let me set the scene, Kyo and Anna were sharing some after class alone time. Anna having bought Kyo a wallet chain for his birthday, puts it on him half way. The two hear some students coming back in the class and decide to wedge themselves in the teachers podium (all up close and personal in each others kool aid, if I might add).

The students consisting of Ando, Hanazawa, and Sekine, are talking about if Anna and Kyo are dating and Sekine tells them “who knows,” leaving the two’s relationship up to debate. Ando goes on a tangent about wanting to celebrate the two and force them into dating. Sekine with her devious foresight to want to see Kyo squirm, agrees, getting the conversation to move elsewhere.

Anna asks Kyo if they are dating, leaving him at a lost of words. Of course, our boy tucks tail and tries to run, causing him to accidently step on his wallet chain, and there went his pants. Of course, what’s an awkward situation without someone catching you, Sekine walks back in, to see the two in a very provocative position. Girl was literally shook…

Later on, the two are in the library, when Anna decides to commemorate their height onto the bookshelves in permanent ink. Go ahead and call the dentist because this next part left me with cavities. Kyo writes “Anna” our first real sign that he is finally coming around to first name basis, and Anna is in full cloud 9 mode. Kyo proceeds to tell her that he wants to be closer to her physically. He meant in physical height, but of course, our tall girl took it as in a physical relationship. Calm down Anna, you need to simmer a little more before Kyo’s ready for that….

Kyo begins to find the courage to tell Yamada how he feels. The right moment is there, it’s just them two and the curtains surrounding them in their own personal world..(insert Ian Sinclair’s voice saying “OMG IT’S HAPPPENING, WHAT SHE GONNA SAY for my Kaguya Sama Dub Lovers)

However, the two get interrupted by Hanazawa who awkwardly leaves the library soon after, tripping and banging over everything on her way out. I don’t know about yall, but she is one weird cookie. But we later learn that she is just another best girl, trying to help Kyo in his endeavors to get closer to Anna as she switches seats with Yamada so her and Kyo can be together.

Kyo takes her help the wrong way and begins working too hard to keep his distance causing Anna to write Hanazawa a letter to tell her to leave her and Kyo alone and that the relationship between the two are really important to her. Kyo finds the letter before she gives it to Hanazawa and Kyo can’t help but to be fully blushed out.

The episode ends with Yamada getting too close for comfort with Hanazawa, when she expresses her desire to know more about love. Our tall girl is too much sometimes, but I agree Kyo, she does need to be more careful or at least explain herself more clearly.
