This week’s episode hit me hard in the best way. Watching Suika alone in the world, vulnerable, missing her friends, and still pushing forward.
She faced years of loneliness, failure after failure, and endless trial and error trying to create the revival fluid. And yet, she never gave up. Seven years passed before she could bring Senku back, but her persistence paid off. That is the human will at its core, falling, learning, trying again, and choosing hope in the face of despair.
I loved the conversation this sparked with my kids. We talked about what we would do if faced with seven years of silence and struggle. Would we keep going? Would we lose hope? It became a powerful lesson: even when things take time, when they’re hard, when we fail, we don’t stop moving forward.
Kudos to our sweet Suika. If you haven’t seen the latest episode yet, go watch it, you’ll walk away encouraged to persist, even when the odds feel impossible.
What about you? If you were in Suika’s place, how would you spend those seven years?
