First Wifey Sylphie has entered the chat….

Episode of 11, titled “To You” has Mushoku Tensei fans finally seeing Sylphie take the first step in Wifehood by revealing herself to Rudeus Greyrat.

Last week’s episode after Rudeus found out of Sylphie’s alternate identity “Mister Fitz” was a woman in that fated library tumble, we knew it would be a matter of time before Sylphie would need to have courage and reveal herself to her long time crush Rudeus and oh boy did she deliver! In true Sylphie fashion.

The long awaited cave episode finally revealed Mister Fitz to be none other than Sylphiette herself.

I don’t know about you, but there were some great highlights in this episode that had me laughing and squealing with joy.

First, are we not going to talk about the comedy gold that was Sylphie telling princess Ariel what her relationship with Rudeus should be? Seeing sylphie go off on a tangent about her and Rudeus sharing a bed had me laughing until I cried just seeing the mouth on Princess Ariel go further down to the floor as Sylphie innocently gave a play by play of her and Rudeus in bed.

Second, the whole plan of Sylphie to get some alone time with Rudeus leading up to the cave scene was just down right precious. You could tell she was making every effort to get Rudeus to agree to this escapade to secure her prize. Don’t even get me started on her thought about buying Rudeus after his comment on how he didn’t come cheap.

Lastly and most importantly…..the cave scene….

After Sylphie successfully recreates the rain soaked clothes memory of her and her childhood friend, they both enter the cave. Rudeus wasted no time taking off his clothes and getting them dried, but for Sylphie, we see her inner self struggle to go through with the plan of revealing herself but also her body to Rudeus.

Rudeus in a gentleman fashion at first tells her he would turn around and close his eyes if she would like to undress, but much to his surprise, Sylphie had not intentions to do so, and tells Rudeus to undress her lest she die.

Rudeus (as expected) wastes no time and takes off Sylphie’s wet clothes and remembers that core memory with Sylphie. Upon taking off her sunglasses, to reveal her red eyes, he knows its none other than her but asks her, “Is your real name, Sylphiette by any chance?”

Her smile and tears of joy had me squealing with excitement! Sylphie confessed her love for Rudeus and the pair embraced as the episode ended.

Talk about a “mic drop” episode. I honestly cannot wait for the next!
