With the long anticipated Boruto time skip to be released in less than 2 weeks. I thought I would iron out what we know so far and what we can expect from Boruto: Two Blue Vortex that is dropping in just 9 days! 9 days yall! The wait is almost over! The hype-meter is almost overloaded at this point as Naruto and Boruto fans anxiously await to see their first look into the series climax.

First, it has been confirmed that Kishimoto (author of Naruto) is in charge of the “Boruto: Two Blue Vortex” narrative with drawings remaining with Mr. Ikemoto! This dynamic duo should both be able to pull off an amazing feat that will have fans of the Naruto universe left overjoyed and not underwhelmed.

Second, the time skip will have Boruto and the others jumping in age about 4 years to where Boruto is 15 or 16 and Kawaki about 17 or 18. This time skip will take place in a season where Boruto and the others have had time to train and mature into shinobis that will be a force to be reckoned with. We should expect to see the characters to have developed their skills, have gained new ones, and to possibly get flashbacks on what went down during the time skip.

Third, we should expect to see new designs for characters, three of which have already been released (Boruto, Sarada, and Kawaki) with a possibility of more to come. I don’t know about you, but I hope to see if Mitsuki or even Himawari have new designs! As the hype continues, we can only hope that they will release little breadcrumbs along the way as we get ready for the release!

Lastly, we should expect this to be the conclusion of the main plot with the Otsutsuki clan, the rescue of Naruto, and the resolution of loose plot threads. I expect nothing less than Boruto going all out to save his father, his brother, and the rest of Konoha!

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is all set to be released on August 20, 2023. Fans can expect to read the chapter for free on the Manga Plus and the Shonen Jump app.
